Privacy

Your privacy, in plain words

We collect as little as possible, use it only to help you, and never sell it.

Draft for review. This policy is a starting draft for Pulse of Prevention. Please have it reviewed by a qualified attorney or your parent organization before publishing. Last updated July 2026.
01

What we collect

Only information you choose to give us through our forms — a name or nickname, an email or phone number, an age range, and whatever details you add. You can use a nickname on most forms. We don't require an account, and we don't ask for diagnoses, medication lists, or treatment history.

02

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to respond to what you asked for — a counseling connection, an RSVP, free supplies, a program, a partnership, a story, or a message. We don't use it for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.

03

How it's stored

Form submissions are stored securely with our service providers and seen only by the team members who handle that request. A notification may be emailed to our team so we can follow up. We keep information only as long as we need it, then remove it.

04

Young people & parents

Prevention work involves minors, so we take extra care. We ask for an age range rather than a birth date, don't knowingly collect more than we need from anyone under 13, and include a parent or guardian in program enrollment for minors. Parents can ask us to remove a child's information anytime.

05

Counseling & crisis notice

Pulse of Prevention connects you with counselors and partners — it is not an emergency service and is not, on its own, a licensed healthcare provider. Counselors and partners follow their own confidentiality rules, which may require them to act if someone is in danger. In an emergency, call 911; for crisis support, call or text 988.

06

Cookies & tracking

We keep the site simple and avoid unnecessary tracking. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies under YouTube's policy when you play them. We don't run advertising trackers on our support pages.

07

Your choices
